NIRO WANG continues to challenge one of the oldest cloths in the world, Linen, and push its boundaries into a more contemporary context. NIRO WANG aims to explore and strike balance between juxtaposing elements found in everyday life: urban and natural, destruction and regeneration, the fast and the slow, organic and synthetic. We are not afraid of peculiarities or imperfections and often prefer them. For we believe those delicate flaws are what make us human. As WANG continues to explore the connection between urban lives and the natural world this season he embarks on American forest loggers at the turn of the twentieth century as source of inspiration.
